GO SHORTY...IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY...WE GONNA PARTY LIKE IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY...

Ok the day has arrived, and to the minute(not planned) 8:38am this time last year my boy was born!!! I'm getting a little misty eyed just thinking about it!!

I am sad that he's getting bigger, but so amazed at how much he's growing and changing and learning. I'm happier then I thought I was going to be...
He's a good kid, albeit a crappy sleeper(but improving).

We're going to have a small party tonight with grandma & grandpa, maybe my brother and his girls if they can make it. We got some impressive birthday packages in the mail last week from Granny in Australia. Ian is in LOVE with these cute little Ikea cars(didn't even know they had Ikeas in oz) and the most adorable "petrol" station! it's even made out of wood... not many toys are these days! It's so cute, it has a little roo in the middle... definitely a keepsake. Too bad it cost $64 to post! (although she added some treats in it for us... yum!)

So I'm feeling a bit reflective today, but a lot more peaceful than I thought I was going to be.

Happy birthday my little boy! It's been a great first year, can't wait for many many more!
